When you stroll the streets of Blackstone you'll find antiques, corner coffee shops, bakeries, ice cream spots, farmers markets, pubs, & a brewery. There's a driving night life here great for pub crawling, attending concerts, singing karaoke and more.

While is town get your dose of history with Rob Thomas Carriage House, Cross Thomas House & Event Center, & Schwartz Tavern, Inn at Blackstone. Blackstone was officially incorporated in 1888 having just changed its name from Blacks and Whites to Blackstone. The name Blacks and White came from 2 rival tavern keepers Mr. Black and Mr. White. One of these taverns still remains Schwartz Tavern (Schwartz translates to black in German) and is open for tours. on July 4th, 1928 a fire on parts of Main Street and down  E Broad Street destroyed 19 establishment.
